Landmarketing Issue 08 - Autumn 2003
Welcome to Issue 8 of Landmarketing - Inflatable Marketing Ideas You Can Use
As the heat fades and the leaves start to change color, all of us at Landmark Creations have been working hard creating lots of inflatables for fairs, carnivals, and fall festivals. (If you could call all the fun we have “work.”)
Businesses are also starting to gear up for Christmas. Now is a great time to think about which inflatables you want for the upcoming holiday season. Maybe you need to add “have Christmas inflatables serviced” to your to do list? You’ll want to have inflatables that have been sitting in storage all year long checked before using them. No sense in having unpleasant surprises at the last minute, right?
And, before you set up any inflatable, you’ll want to have some solid information about staking it down so it doesn’t topple over or blow away. That’s the topic of this issue’s tips and tricks article.
You’ll also find some fabulous ideas for using inflatables (compliments of our loyal customers), and you’ll have a lot of fun playing “Pac Dino.” Be sure to read LandMarketing “cover to cover” so you don’t miss a thing!
Proper Staking Techniquest for Ground Installations
Staking cold-air inflatables down for ground installations is an important part of a successful set up. While it may seem like an easy enough task, there are a lot of factors to be considered: Which stakes are best? Are there utility lines buried at your site? Are the weather conditions windy? Will the inflatable be safe from vandalism?
Creative Inflatable Use Draws Crowds All Across the Country
We’ve had some excellent pictures of Landmark inflatables in action sent to us. I thought this would make a wonderful collection to inspire you with your own inflatables.

Warped Tour Inflatable Igloo - What? Yes… an alternative rock show promoter had Landmark create an igloo that was used at their concert. And with great success, I might add.
Want your own 15 minutes of fame? Just send us a photo of your Landmark Creation in action and tell us about your event. You might be featured in an upcoming edition of LandMarketing.
We're famous! Landmark Creations has been featured on both television and in the newspaper. Fox 9 Morning News invited Landmark President Tom Meacham to visit their studios for an interview about inflatable advertising. Also, The Business Journal had a lot to say about inflatables in general as well as Landmark Creations. NOTE: The video interview is a large media file… 11MB! If you have dial up, you may want to watch the shorter version or grab a cup of coffee while it loads.
Wishing You Success,
