Inflatable Mascot Draws a Crowd at Events Across the Country
The Butcher Boys Inflatable Mascot Draws a Crowd at Fairs and Parades
For a food vendor, there are two ways to stand out on a crowded midway: Sell the best sandwiches, or have an eye-catching mascot. F & W Concessions' Butcher Boys does both, and it shows in their success.
With events planned across the country, owner Dennis Fraleigh wanted to add an inflatable mascot that could be pulled via a trailer to his setup.
A lightweight, portable balloon built for travel was easy for Landmark Creations to deliver.
Standing more than 10 feet tall, the towering Butcher Boys invite visitors to enjoy F & W Concessions' signature dish, a London broil steak sandwich, or any of the other mouthwatering feasts they offer.
Clearly the strategy worked. The Butcher Boys recently made an appearance at the Minnesota State Fair — one of the largest in the country — where they were a huge hit with customers and staff alike.

What Others Say About Landmark Creations
"Our tunnel was also a great addition to our pre-game tradition: the Wildcat walk. Our city shuts down three blocks of downtown, and we have hundreds of fans lining the streets with a police escort, while we walk to the stadium."
- Sam Baker, Head Football Coach at Waconia High School
"Just wanted to say how much we LOVE our inflatables. We tested them in our lobby where they were, of course, an instant hit for school group photos. Our leadership was quite pleased with the durability and the realism."
- Mike Hennessy, Carnegie Science Center
“This has created tremendous buzz around town and we have received a great deal of compliments on the Big Tire. Exposure is my goal, and the inflatable does that better than anyone, including me, can do at these events. The Big Tire never takes a break, gets tired or has to take a call. It just keeps shining bright and the kids love it.”
- Ed Chaney, Ed Chaney Tire Center Inc.
The inflatable complements our messaging since Ivar’s is a quirky restaurant that’s known for its antics.
- J. Werth, Ivar's Restaurant
"People love the inflatable! It's been a great photo op for History Center guests."
- Laura Geffre-Rick, Minnesota Historical Society
“Everywhere it goes, folks go out of their way to catch a glimpse of the colorful inflatable.”
