Ballasts FAQs sheet cover - tether strap from custom inflatable attached to cement block How Do You Keep Your Inflatable Securely in Place?

The answer in one word? Ballasts.

Made of heavy materials like sand and concrete, ballasts provide weight and stability to help anchor your custom inflatable safely in its place.

What Are Your Options?

Ballasts come in all shapes, sizes, and varieties. You can choose something as simple as tent stakes or as complex as customized weights built into your display's internal trusswork. Other possibilities include:

Free weights
Sandbags
Concrete blocks and barricades
PDI blocks – lighter and more aesthetically pleasing than concrete – made of resilient plastic with interior water chambers
Water-filled plastic barrels
Even stationary vehicles!
